Radiesse® is a temporary filler (cosmetic injectable filler in the form of a gel) that is used to improve volume. As the skin ages, less collagen is produced. As a result, the skin becomes less elastic and wrinkles can occur. Where Botox is used to reduce muscle activity to soften wrinkles, Radiesse not only fills wrinkles, but also stimulates the production of its own collagen.

Everything you need to know about Radiesse treatment
Prior to Radiesse treatment
The cosmetic doctor will draw up a personal treatment plan before addressing facial wrinkles. During the Radiesse treatment, the liquid is injected under the skin with a thin injection needle. If you wish, we can anesthetize you locally. The treatment itself takes about 20 minutes. Part of the effect is already visible immediately after the treatment. After seven days, the result is optimal and you will see the natural result. Between a 1st and a possible 2nd treatment, we maintain a period of at least two weeks.
After treatment and results
Among other things, we recommend that you do not use cream or makeup for 6 hours after the treatment and to stay out of the sun and the sauna.
There are hardly any side effects.

After treatment, there may sometimes be slight swelling at the site of the injection. This usually disappears within a few hours. After treatment with Radiesse, you can continue your daily activities without any problems. As a result, this treatment is also easy to undergo during a work or lunch break.

Radiesse results
The results of the wrinkle treatment are visible for about 2 years, depending on your age, skin type, etc. After this period, you can repeat the treatment without any problems.
