Frown Wrinkle Removal
The vertical lines or wrinkles between the eyebrows are called frown lines. Frown lines can appear at a young age and sometimes create an unwanted stern or angry look. Many times the deep furrows are caused by excessive tightening of the muscles between the eyebrows. To prevent this habitual wrinkle from becoming a permanent furrow, it is recommended to treat the frown wrinkle preventively, for example with botulinum toxin.

Treatment of frown with Botox
Botox is an extremely effective and safe way to remove wrinkles between the eyebrows. Botox is an Allergan brand name. The active substance is called botulinum toxin. FAQ Botox frown wrinkle
When will the effect with Botox be visible?
The result is not immediately visible. After 5 to 8 days, muscle activity begins to decrease and the first result becomes visible. The maximum effect of a botox treatment is visible between day 10 and day 14 and remains effective for an average of 3-4 months.
How long will the results of Botox last?
The muscle will be back to full strength after about three months. A first repeat treatment is therefore recommended after three months. After applying Botox more often, you can eventually expect a repeat treatment between 5 to 9 months.
How long does it take to treat frown lines with Botox and does it hurt?
A Botox treatment takes approximately 10 minutes. You will get a few small punctures between the eyebrows. These feel like a pinprick and are easy to tolerate. An anaesthetic is not necessary. Immediately after the treatment, the skin may turn slightly red and sometimes swell slightly.
