Professional peeling
During a professional or chemical peel, the skin is treated with a (high) concentration of acid. The ingredients in the peel lower the pH (acidity) of the skin, which ensures that dead skin cells come off more easily and cell renewal is stimulated. This results in fresh, smooth, hydrated skin. It has a beneficial effect on the deeper layers of the skin, because collagen and elastin are produced. The result? A reduction in fine lines and wrinkles.

Mandalic Peels
Our favorite all year round. The Mandelic peel is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) and has an antibacterial effect, making it suitable for (inflammatory) acne. Thanks to the large molecule, the peeling has a slow penetration depth, making it very suitable for both sensitive skin to dark skin types.
TCA Peels
Dermaceutical's Cosmopeel TCA is a medium to deep chemical peel that accelerates skin renewal. The peeling consists of a combination of different acids. At Van Lennep Clinic, we have different percentages of the Cosmopeel, so that the peeling can be built up in strength. TCA stands for tri-chloroacetic acid. This substance damages the superficial skin cells. As a result, it flakes off and the deeper skin layer is stimulated to produce extra collagen and elastin, resulting in skin improvement in various areas. After treatment, redness and peeling may occur. The process of skin renewal and peeling can last from a few days to a week.

LACM Peel
Environ - LACM Peeling
With a low concentration of lactic acid, a pH reduction in the skin is achieved that stimulates and releases growth factors to the skin. Bacteria are destroyed, dead skin cells are removed and skin hydration promotes. The LACM Cool Peel is ideal for reducing fine lines and wrinkles, thick and rough skin with open pores, or problematic skin such as acne and rosacea. This mild peeling is also very suitable for ridding sun-aged skin of, for example, actinic keratosis, a mild stage of skin cancer. The skin can recover and is better protected against the occurrence of sun damage and ultimately skin cancer. This peeling significantly increases the absorption of vitamins. The skin becomes purer, the skin texture smoother and imperfections fade away. The strength of the peeling is adjusted to the individual skin condition. Our goal is to make skin healthier in a gentle but effective way, with little discomfort and no prolonged recovery period. For optimal results, the peeling is offered in a course of 3 to 6 treatments at intervals of one week, where the intensity can be built up. With this peel, little or no downtime is visible, so you look presentable immediately after the peel.

This very strong peel consists of a combination of TCA (10%), salicylic acid (17%), lactic acid (5%) and retinol (6%) and provides effective exfoliation of the upper damaged skin layers and stimulation of the underlying skin layers. This results in healthy glowing skin and improvement in pigment, structure and wrinkles. The peeling is suitable for all skin types, provided the skin is well prepared. Ask your therapist for advice about this. This peeling generally has a longer recovery time. The skin is redder in the first 2 days after peeling and feels dry and tight.
