Markwin Statius Muller
Markwin Statius Muller (14-5-1969) studied medicine at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. He trained as a surgeon at the VUmc and Slotervaart hospital from 2000 to 2006. During the course, he obtained his PhD with the thesis: “The sentinel node concept in melanoma: relevancy and consequences”.
After the training, he worked for 10 years in several clinics in the Netherlands as a surgeon, varying from general, oncological, gastrointestinal and traumatological surgery.
After that, he focused more on cosmetic medicine, including hair transplants and injectables. As a result, in addition to being a surgeon, he is now also an official KNMG cosmetic doctor.
Dr. Markwin Statius Muller's biggest challenge in cosmetic medicine is to make the client look as natural as possible after the treatment, but a bit refreshed and younger.
