Camouflagetherapie

Camouflage therapy

Make color differences in your skin less visible with camouflage therapy! A treatment that is often reimbursed by health insurers. Camouflage therapy is used to make color abnormalities in the skin less visible. This usually involves pigment spots, redness, scars, or acne.

Minerale make-up

Mineral Makeup: Camouflage & Care

In our clinics in The Hague and Oegstgeest, we use Jane Iredale's mineral makeup to camouflage the skin. We recommend this line not only as camouflage therapy, but also as a daily foundation and skin care with UV protection. You can make an appointment for an informal consultation. Our expert skin therapist will work with you to see whether camouflage therapy is possible.

Camouflage therapy for acne

Acne is often associated with juvenile pimples and occurs when a sebaceous gland becomes blocked. Unfortunately, impure skin can also occur later in life, for example during menopause. All forms of impurities can be properly treated and camouflaged by our BIG-registered skin therapists. For example, we treat clients with acne ranging from mild pimples to severe acne. We also offer treatments aimed at preventing impurities, such as peels, or Hydra Facial.

Camouflage therapy for pigment

Do you suffer from pigmentation? Or is there a pigment spot left after a pimple or trauma? A pregnancy mask (melasma) can also be disfiguring. Without proper care, or professional treatment, it is impossible to get rid of unwanted pigment. The skin therapists at Van Lennep Kliniek can treat pigmentation easily and safely with IPL laser, professional skin improvement protocols for pigment reduction, or with camouflage therapy.

Camouflage therapy for scars

Depending on the cause, a scar can occur anywhere on the body or face and is particularly disturbing from a cosmetic point of view. It can also provide a lasting reminder of an unpleasant event. This is one of the reasons why people choose to treat or disguise a scar. A microneedling treatment, fractional laser or plasma treatment can sometimes permanently reduce a scar.

FAQs

Everything you need to know about camouflage therapy
How does the camouflage instruction work?
During the consultation, our skin therapist will work with you to see whether camouflage therapy is possible. During the instruction, the color of the foundation will be determined and we will show you how best to apply the makeup. You can then declare the costs for the instruction, the required Jane Iredale products and any additional treatments to your health insurer yourself, if this is included in your additional package.
Will my treatment be reimbursed?
It varies by health insurer whether a camouflage therapy treatment, or camouflage therapy instruction, is reimbursed. This is usually the case when you have an additional package within your health insurance. You can contact your health insurer to inquire about the exact reimbursement. Watch here our rates.
