Which areas can be treated with Restylane fillers?
With Restylane, full face treatments can be done, such as a combination treatment for the cheekbone, cheeks, jawline, chin, neck, or lip. During the consultation, the treating doctor will discuss which treatment area is important to you for the correct improvement in your face.
How quickly will I see results from the Restylane treatment?
Hyaluronic acid filler injections give immediate results and are optimal after 3-4 weeks. We repeat a Skin Booster after 3-4 weeks, for even more superficial skin improvement.
How long will the effect remain visible?
The results of the Restylane fillers last about a year.
Is Restylane treatment painful?
The treatment is generally not experienced as painful, although the pain experience varies from person to person. Standard anaesthetic fluid has been added to the filler, so you will feel almost nothing of pain and half an hour after the treatment you will no longer feel numb.
Is Restylane safe?
Restylane is an extremely safe hyaluronic acid filler that has been on the market for the longest of all hyaluronic acid fillers and has therefore also been proven to be safe in the long term. One advantage of hyaluronic acid is that it also occurs naturally in your own skin. As a result, the risk of an (allergic) reaction is extremely small. Hyaluronic acid can also be actively broken down with hyasone, a solvent, so it is always reversible.
